Account Manager, DC/Baltimore

Job Description

Where?
We are looking to fill the position at our Baltimore Headquarters, in the Hunt Valley business park.

Who We Are
McEnroe Voice & Data is a business to business company that specializes in VoIP and Unified Communications installation and service.  We focus on the SMB and Mid-size Enterprise marketplace in Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern PA.

What’s so great about this position?
We have an existing book of business (over 100 accounts) being vacated by a Senior Account Manager who is relocating due to family reasons. The new Account Manager would gain those existing accounts and farm those, while also hunting for new business.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, proposing, and closing system solutions which include business telephone systems and contracts. Account Managers are also responsible incorporating unified communications applications, call center software, video collaboration, etc. as part of an overall customer solution.
  • Responsible for generating profitable sales revenue through existing accounts, referrals, prospecting via telephone, face to face, email, and networking.
  • Demonstrating B to B selling skills and product knowledge to give effective presentations.
  • Creating and conducting effective proposal presentations using solution-based selling

Pre-Requisites

  • 3+ years selling B to B, preferably in the technology industry
  • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree
  • Self-sufficient, business professional who is able to network and generate strong opportunities and partnerships to grow and cultivate their account base

Compensation / Benefits

Compensation is base salary plus uncapped commission. Account Managers who are meeting their sales targets can expect to make $95K and up. Account Managers who are exceeding their targets can make anywhere from $120K-$150K and more.

IT PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Description

A great opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years experience who is energetic, well-spoken, outgoing and organized. Applicant must be comfortable with technology and be computer literate.

The two most important traits the candidate must have are aptitude and attitude.  You must have a aptitude and hunger to learn new technology that we install for our customers so you can train them properly.  And you must have an assertive yet customer-friendly attitude to keep projects on track and under budget.

The Project Coordinator is the liaison between our customers and our operations /sales departments. You will take charge of assigned projects and be the focal point of information, utilizing project outlines to ensure that customer expectations are met. The Project Coordinator will also conduct on-site training and document installation follow up items. 50% of your time will consist of local and regional travel (Southern PA, MD, DC, NoVA) to customer sites.

Experience is a plus but not required. We will train for the position. The Project Coordinator position is a great starting point to gain industry-specific training and transition into sales or operations within our company. Starting salary $37K – 42K, commensurate with experience. Dependable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Data collection during programming meetings –  coordinated with customers to go over their system preferences post-sale
  • System programming – as you learn more about each system you will handle minor programming aspects
  • Organizing installation logistics – working with OPS manager to determine man power and logistics
  • Customer training – post-install (day of) setting up and training end-users on the system


TELECOM EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who is energetic, outgoing, and organized. Our well-established voice and data company is looking for an experienced Telecom Equipment Technician. Familiarity with Mitel/Inter-Tel Systems, and Toshiba systems is a plus. We are not looking for cable only technicians. Salary and full benefits commensurate with experience.

Avaya experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Coordinator and Account Manager programming and implementing new installs, upgrades, changes, and moves
  • Respond to customers’ service calls on-site in the Baltimore/DC area, with courtesy and professionalism
  • Respond to customers’ service calls remotely from McEnroe Voice & Data offices
  • Track, log, and close service calls in company’s system accurately, and according to billing policies


CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Job Description

Must have at least 1 full year of experience and High School Diploma or higher.

Where?:

Full Time: 8:30 to 5 – Hunt Valley area.

What Will You Do?:

Provide excellent customer service, from the initial request and through all required communication.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

  • Receive incoming calls
  • Process any service requests into the computer
  • Process service requests from e-mails/voicemails received
  • Monitor and Follow-up on all outstanding service requests
  • Update notes and tech times.
  • Customer surveys/follow-up to make sure customer is satisfied
  • Process paperwork for sending out repair work.
  • Prepare documents for customers when requested
  • Close out and invoice service requests
